[Compcomm] Let's Get Things Started

I was actually just talking about git.compiz.org. It doesn't have a
working gitweb (no shortlog,log,etc.) because of hooks not getting
executed.
And the problem with using berylbox for git is that apparently some
people don't want to use it just because it has the name beryl on it
and in its address. A solution is to rename that git server through
dns of course. Would it be acceptable for everyone to use it in that
case?
I'm ok with both solutions.
