I couldn't agree more, but we need to be realistic here
ZERO regressions from what you know as beryl will probably
be very hard and take a long time.

Everything that fits into this category is basically the forgotten
patches and the ones that were mislabeled in svn.  I think you
need to accept there will be some functionality loss and we
should be debating what that is and if it should be lost.  Maniac
and others just saying yeah yeah everything's covered is
counterproductive.  Just because it was developed by the community
in new and exciting ways does not mean that they can do the impossible,
just wishing or demanding no regressions does not make it happen.

Cube slide on rotate is almost certain to be lost.  I dont see any
signs of it being ported and it was always buggy and I doubt
David would include that functionality in his cube plugin.

CSV or SQL format, and how should we order the list?

Alphabetical or harshness?
