I didn't say you were. "Less than ideal" were my words concerning
proprietary software. Not "evil" or "bad" or anything akin to that.
But I don't think it's better, and I do think it's restrictive and in
the long run the wrong choice. I've got nothing against listening to
MP3s (most of my library is still in mp3, transcoding is not desirable)
or using photoshop if you have it already.
Your views are different than mine, but I think my views are in line
with a lot of the community that uses this software. You may think we
are all idiots, but not recognizing that we exist is simply not knowing
your base. Make whatever decision you like but don't expect everyone to
be happy with it.
