That's exactly the problem. We removed the decision structures that we
sort of had (there was no hierarchy tree, but at least there was
agreement to do what the developer majority thought is the way to go)
without creating new structures (actually, I would be quite happy with
the old status quo).
Instead, we bitch around and make no decision whenever there is anybody
not agreeing with the vast majority. :-/

When you don't want to have to do anything with it, why do you keep
bitching around on this mailing list? What is your vision of going on in
the future? And this vision is not only about a forum, it's about all
stuff related to the outcome of it.
Taking an example: Do you think distributing plugins as a tarball in a
forum attachment without any public version control is the way to go? If
you name this plugin set "just Compiz plugins" or "a brand new project"
or somewhat inbetween isn't relevant at all. Relevant is what the users
view of it is (ease of installation and such) and what's the best way to
ensure the stability of the software.
Same thing applies to all other related software as well.

Please invest the time you currently use for trying to make points
EVERYONE around here already has understood for months into thinking how
to make it BETTER than Beryl instead of constantly remarking how bad
Beryl was. That doesn't help anybody.
