I understand you fought hard for Compiz after the fork, trying to
build back up a community you feel like Beryl took away. Because of
this I feel like a lot of what you say is based off principle than
what you really think (Notably: Disagreeing with Beryl on principle.).

Maybe there was a time and a place for this, and while I may not agree
with you, I can respect that you stuck to what you believed in
resolutely.

But really, can't we put all that behind us now? If this attempt at a
'merge' fails it's going to be because of you and other people who
refuse to compromise, discuss, or contribute (I understand you do
contribute to things, but you aren't contributing directly to
CompComm, yet you still spend quite a bit of time flaming here.), yet
insist on spouting the same talking points over and over.
