Wouldn't it be better to describe this new project before
rushing into anything which will look tacky?
I still have no idea what this project is supposed to
represent. I suspect a lot of other people just assume
they know but there is no real reference to define it.
Please can the people with the big ideas about the new
project post a message in the compiz forum explaining
what your new project is and what it offers that is not
already offered by compiz (or the community part).
I dont think 'extra community plugins' is a valid reason
to create a new subproject. It should be more defined than
that.
Pretend that nobody has heard of your new project or knows
what its all about. Your idea has to be defined before you can
add a name and create a website. The first question people
will ask it 'what is it?', not 'whats it called?'
Is it just a project to include ex-beryl plugins? Is it to provide
as much eye-candy as possible? Make Compiz easy to use?
Once these questions are answered it will be easy to name
the projects, there may even be more than 1 project which is
needed (in order to keep their goals separate).
