It really sounds great. At the end look around the net: it is not said
that the name / logo / brand of something for the extra packages should
be created by someone INTO the community. Look at FreeBSD, for example.
They created a Logo Contest and EVERYONE who came
across the site was able to partecipate.
Artists, even very professional ones, will participate willingly just to
show off themselves and make some publicity to theyr work, not to say it
would be a great add to they're portfolio.
It is not said that we have to keep it INTO the community at all, as
much as the licence of the whole thing is accessible....
right?
I guess for FreeBSD it worked VERY well. I like the art, very
professional design.
And when I say I love the entire idea I refer to the domain and
subdomain thing too.
