These sound like good ideas, I have added a 'Community
Sub Projects' category to forum.compiz.org, please can you
post each of these in a separate thread and add any other
thoughts you have. People can then comment and add any
extra ideas.
By Monday/Tuesday we should have a good list of initial
ones to start with, we can then pester David for the DNS.
Nobody needs to wait to set up home pages for these, you
can use them to flesh out ideas until the domains are
pointed properly.
I think that its a good guideline that these sub sites should
all have designs that will 'compliment' the main compiz site
and that they should all have at least a link back to the www
homepage. Too many sites all linked from the main-menu
will disorientate users. The only other option would be to
link them from a separate page, but I'd like to build up the
list of tabs across the top of www.compiz.org.
