Mike is exactly right about this, as is Rico.

Alex - To be honest, the only thing I really want to say is "told you 
so". You constantly cited your experience running phpBB fora, and of PHP 
code, yet, not only are you trying to play off an _RC_ as a stable 
release, but as soon as a bug is found (not even starting on how 
quick-reply shouldn't be an add-on hack - it should be installed by 
default), you've thrown your hands up in the air and said "Well it's not 
a stable release!"

If you're going to take a stance on something, don't flip-flop the 
minute someone shows you're wrong.
