That's exactly the way I see it :) ...
The whole compiz website would get an "in-fusion". I (among others)
spend some thoughts on how the general layout and structure of the site
can be rearranged to fit the needs of the combined project. There is
still a lot to be discussed, though.
The base for a "Plugins"-tab is there and euskal is working on a
wordpress-theme for a "Planet"(/Blog?)-tab ... (those two tabs were
demanded quite a few times and we should try to realize them soon). Also
I'd like to integrate (the community-) gitweb on its own tab - I assume
that everyone is ok with that.
Concerning the site/forums my proposal would be to keep phpbb2 until
either we agreed on something else or phpbb3 is finally released. I
would like to delay a major rework of the whole site and layout until
then (of course, we could develop and test the new layout before the
final release - but we shouldn't upgrade before that).
btw: I fully support to have an artwork contest as long as it isn't
connected to another "official logo-poll". I am sure we will get some
nice art because the "fusion"-thing offers a wide range of
possibilities.
