That is because the people at forums.beryl-project.org was forced to
go there, myself included. I think you have an inflated impression of
what oc.o means to people.

I gladly moved to forums.b-p.org when I replaced Compiz when Beryl was
a reality. I moved to oc.org because I was forced to. I'll gladly move
back to forums.compiz.org when that is established as the official
community source for Compiz Fusion.

I'm not from compiz.org at all.

Me as a user: I, and several others have some problems with at least
one of the admins, RYX reported that quick replies go MIA, I reported
that writing an "&" ends whatever you're writing.
