I know. Your point being?

Probably not if this had been planned in a more transparent way.
Meaning, a sudden shift of forums was a little bit of a shock.
I disagree with RYX on both some of his points and his tendency of
aggressiveness, but I really do believe he has a point when it comes
to rushing things. If there had been *clear* and *open* communication
to the community what the plans were, I think the annoyance would have
been less. But that would of course mean that the devs would have to
agree.
I bring this up now, not to rehash the past (which I have pointed out
several times as counter productive), but in a hope that these kinds
of problems can be avoided in the future.

You seem very proud of your opinion that we are sooo happy with oc.o,
even though many were pissed after they were coerced out of the
Beryl-forums. Why would the user respond in a different way now? I,
for one, think that if the users are told that "this is the definite
forum change, they will from now on be held at forums.compiz.org",
they will comply happily.

But you have not commented on my point with "&" has not been adressed?
Have you tried it out?

What difference would it make if I had singled you out?
I am confident that you make a good contribution to the community, but
sadly I have only seen the less productive sides of you. That's a
shame for both of us. You see, I get a little aggravated when people
debate using expressions like "That just won't happen". (Ironically, I
had a similar view on RYX and Mike earlier. After they have been
challenged on this, they have shown different sides.)
You can take this whichever way you want, but I'm hoping that you will
explain your views in a mature way in the future. Who knows, I might
agree with a lot of what you say to.
If I have hurt your feelings or something like it, I am truly sorry.
It is nothing personal.
Sincerely, Ketil
