And I have seen those people calm down after a few sentences of talking. I
was the person Kristian was upset about (I know you mean exactly that
example), so does this mean I (as one of the biggest code contributors)
should stop committing?

Just read again the quoted part above those statements. You should be old
enough to understand the relation and find the contradiction in your
argumentation.
